The Cask Reflections collection revives the legacy of Littlemill like never before, honouring a distillery lost to time. In this inaugural release, carefully selected casks of 33-year-old single malt have undergone a four-month finish in rare Japanese Mizunara oak, enhancing its fragrant spice and amplifying tropical and citrus fruit notes. With only 570 bottles available worldwide, this rare treasure captures a moment in time that can never be repeated.
The Cask Reflections collection is a revival of the past like never before in the legacy of Littlemill. For the first time, a carefully selected series of cask finishes has been curated by Michael Henry, Littlemill’s last custodian, and applied to small numbers of casks from Littlemill's final years. Like the changing direction of light as it reflects through a prism, Littlemill's historic signature notes are combined with the finesse of new flavours. The result is something extraordinary – a reflection of the past recrafted by the present. An honouring of history yet embracement of innovation – casting a new reflection on the spirit of ambition upon which Littlemill was built.
